Poetry in Prose March - August 3rd Friday of each month
We'll look at poems written in prose by T S Eliot, David Jones, Rimbaud, Neruda, and others.
There are obvious questions to be thought through such as why write poems in prose, what might be gained, what might be lost.
Some time will be spent on Michael Hamburger's essay on the prose poem in The Truth of Poetry, and some other critics.
And we'll discuss each others' compositions in this form.
